"Poor kid. But she is so cute and so expressive. She's lucky to have parents that listen and help her process her frustrations."
Blake McLennan of Phoenix, Arizona, can be seen venting her disappointments over the novel coronavirus lockdown in a viral video.
In a recent clip on Facebook, the 4-year-old girl rants about what's going on in her life during the pandemic.
"Everything in this world has shut all the way down," she says. "The ice cream truck is shut down!"
"We can't go anywhere! Not even McDonald's, which is my favorite restaurant," she adds.
Her father, Ben McLennan, who filmed the video, then offers that she can still pick up McDonald's in the drive-thru.
However, the little girl shakes her head at the suggestion and answers, "No, you can't!"
Her father explains, "You can go in the drive-thru, but you can't go in the playground."
"It's really frustrating!" says Blake. "If you go through the drive-thru, that's boring ... If you were inside playing on the playground, it wouldn't be boring."
Her truly relatable meltdown has been viewed nearly 400,000 times on Facebook. A lot of netizens also praised her in the comments section.
"Thank you for sharing," one person wrote. "Your daughter is just too adorable. Her sweet video lifted my spirits. She knows exactly how we all feel."
"What a dear, little girl," added another. "Listened twice, but could not hear what her last question was that made her parents laugh..."
"Poor kid. But she is so cute and so expressive. She's lucky to have parents that listen and help her process her frustrations," another user added.
Someone else commented, "Awwww!! This little girl is precious!! My heart was breaking when watching her cry, but the end was great!!"
Overjoyed at the kind comments his daughter received, Ben also took to the comment section to thank them. He hoped that his daughter spread some joy.
