Once known as Marlou Arizala, Xander Ford took to social media recently to announce that he identifies as bisexual.

Along with a rainbow emoji and the hashtag #Bisexual, the 21-year-old social media personality announced through Instagram Stories: "I am part of LGBTQ."

Currently, the official Instagram account of Ford also has a description indicating he is bisexual. In February, the controversial actor provoked speculation about his sexual identity.

He posted an Instagram selfie at the time that shows him with feminine makeup. He was also wearing a long wig.

Ford wrote then that there is nothing wrong with being gay. He pointed out that the real bad people are those who judge others.

Ford is one of the supporters of ABS-CBN. He once shared a snap of himself on Instagram and captioned it with the words: "Laban Kapamilya."

As a result of the said post, Ford received a lot of criticism. Numerous netizens asserted that he has no right to post such picture since he doesn't belong to the network.

Ford then chose to address the negative remarks that he got through another Instagram post. He brought up that even if he is not an ABS-CBN employee, he has the right to stand for what he believes in.

Ford further expressed that he also worked for the network for five years so he will fight for it. He said that he learned a lot when he was still there.

Meanwhile, Ford's relationship with a woman became trending earlier this year. He was charged with physical abuse and sexual assault. However, he dismissed the allegations.

Ford was a former member of the boy group called Hasht5. He became even more famous when he chronicled his transformation. It was even aired on Korina Sanchez's program, "Rated K."
