Robbie Williams Reveals Cameron Diaz Saved his Relationship with Ayda Field Williams

Musician Robbie Williams has credited Cameron Diaz as the reason he and his now-wife Ayda Field Williams rekindled their relationship.

On the latest episode of Williams and Ayda's podcast, "(Staying) At Home With The Williamses," the 46-year-old singer revealed that it was a discussion with Diaz that turned his relationship with Ayda, 41, around during a brief split.

During the episode, the "Angels" singer explained that before tying the knot with Ayda, he went to the Chateau Marmont in Los Angeles while he and Ayda were on a break.

The singer explained, "I'm floating around and we had split up and I was chatting away with people and I had started to chat with Drew [Barrymore] and Cameron."

"I started to espouse about this brilliant person that I had just ended a relationship with and there were all of these words coming out of my mouth about how incredible you were, how beautiful, smart, funny," Williams added.

"And Cameron Diaz said, 'It doesn't sound like that one's over' and in that moment the universe went, 'Go to Ayda, be with her, marry her,'" he continued.

Ayda then quipped, "Thank god for Cameron Diaz by the way. Next time I see Cameron Diaz I'm going to make out with her!"

"Can you imagine if Cameron had never done that? Imagine if you had never had that conversation?" she added.

The couple now shares four children — daughter Teddy, son Charlie, daughter Coco, and son Beau Benedict Enthoven.
