Other people's expectations are burdensome, and words about you can leave you feeling depressed. You can't prevent getting hurt, but why are you so influenced by the opinions of others?

What makes their opinion of you better than yours? They don't even know your full story or your past experiences. Also, they don't know what you are capable of accomplishing.

Always remind yourself that you're not in this world to satisfy anyone's expectations. The sooner you figure that out, the sooner you can start focusing on what makes you happy and stop holding back.
