According to Britney Spears' makeup artist, Maxi, the "Toxic" singer's ongoing conservatorship prevents her from getting married and having a child.
Spears, 38, has little freedom over her personal and romantic life with Asghari, 26. "I can tell you what they're still controlling to this day is whether she has a baby or not, whether she gets married or not, who her friends are, and those are some big things," the makeup artist claimed, as reported by US Weekly.
"We're talking about some Handmaid's Tale–type things to keep her from having a baby," Maxi added. "Like, we're talking … I can't detail it and I'm not gonna specifically say, but I will say for sure, she would've had a baby by now."
"She would've probably been married to Sam by now. She would have groups of friends around her," Maxi continued.
Maxi claimed that much of his knowledge came from overhearing things while in the presence of Spears.
The makeup artist also shared that Asghari could not discuss much of his relationship with the Pop Princess because of a non-disclosure agreement.
Since February 2008, Spears has been under her conservatorship rule when she suffered a widely publicized mental breakdown.
