Rabiya Mateo represented Iloilo at the Miss Universe Philippines 2020, where she eventually won the title.

The announcement came live directly from Baguio Country Club in Baguio City on October 25. Mateo, 24, was also recognized as Best in Swimsuit.

Other winners are Ysabella Ysmael from Paranaque (1st runner up), Michele Gumabao from Quezon City (2nd runner up), Pauline Amelinckx from Bohol (3rd runner up), and Billie Hakenson from Cavite (4th runner up).

Mateo, who stands 5-foot-7, will represent the country in the 69th edition of the Miss Universe pageant.
