Beyoncé opened up about how the ongoing novel coronavirus pandemic and Black Lives Matter movement have changed her as a parent in an interview with the British Vogue as part of their new special December 2020 issue.

Beyoncé is a doting mother to three beautiful children, Blue Ivy, 8, and twins Rumi and Sir Carter, 3, whom she shares with her husband, Jay-Z.

"I have become a better listener," the "Crazy In Love" hitmaker told British Vogue. "Blue is very smart, and she is aware that there is a shift, but it is my job as a parent to do my best to keep her world as positive and safe as can be for an eight year old."

"My best advice is to love them harder than ever," Beyoncé added. "I let my children know that they are never too young to contribute to changing the world."

The multi-awarded artist continued that she never underestimates her children's thoughts and feelings and checks in with them to understand how this is affecting them.
