A 7-year-old boy lost his life after being mutilated by dogs. The dogs attacked the child as he walked down a street with his brother.
In a recent statement on their Facebook page, the Marion County Sheriff's Office detailed a horrific attack involving dogs. During a stroll with his brother in his neighborhood, Shamar Jackson, age 7, was killed by some dogs.
As the dogs attacked Shamar, his brother escaped. Investigations and searches for the dogs and the owners continue, according to the South Carolina Sheriff's Office.

The Father of the victim, Carnell Jackson, explained that the dogs surrounded the boys from multiple directions, making it impossible for them to escape.
In addition, he said that authorities deprived his wife of the right to have any contact with her deceased child. The arrangement was not acceptable to Carnell, but the police needed to thoroughly investigate the case first.

Meanwhile, Shamar's academic records demonstrated that he was a bright kid. The school report revealed he's a straight-A student and recently completed first grade at Lake View Elementary.
