In the extreme spotlight surrounding Britney Spears' conservatorship struggle, Jana Kramer has stood by Jamie Lynn Spears.

On the recent episode of the "Whine Down with Jana Kramer" podcast, the host said it would be fitting to discuss Britney's testimony since it was in the news.

Jana said she is embarrassed to even mention it since she would prefer people to leave the pop star alone.

The host added, "I do just feel bad because I'm friends with her sister, Jamie Lynn." Jana noted that Jamie Lynn co-wrote her 2015 song "I Got the Boy."

"I texted Jamie when I heard all this stuff in the media and it just, I basically just said like, 'I'm praying for you and your family," she explained.

"And she wrote back a sweet message, and I'm like, 'Girl, you don't need to say anything. You don't need to explain anything to me,'" she continued. "I'm just literally saying we don't know. Your family, that is y'all's business."

Jana worried about Jamie Lynn and stood up against the harassment she received online, as fans voiced criticism for Britney's family’s decision to put her under a conservatorship.

Jana continued, "Unfortunately, I can't even imagine being in that situation and the things, like, they're being so awful to even Jamie Lynn, and it's just like there's a lot that we probably don't know."

The host confessed to feeling conflicted while discussing Britney on her podcast since she didn't possess any insider information.

"My friendship with Jamie, I would never ever dare to even ask, and that's not my business," Jana said. "That's why I'm like, I feel bad talking about her sister because we're friends."

Jamie Lynn has broken her silence on Britney's treatment a week ago, in which the singer called her conservatorship "abusive."
