Recently, her longtime lawyer Samuel Ingham resigned, making Britney Spears in need of a new lawyer.

The Pop Princess wants the position filled by renowned attorney Mathew Rosengart, according to TMZ.

Several sources have asserted that Britney has already authorized Mathew to represent her.

The document allegedly reads, "Pursuant to my statement in open court on June 23, 2021, my rights, and my desire to end the above-referenced conservatorship as to my father Jamie P. Spears, it is my desire to choose and retain my own counsel, at Greenberg, Traurig, LLP as set forth above."

The "Toxic" singer's signed name is reportedly "Britney Jean Spears."

Mathew has served a number of high-profile Hollywood clients such as Ben Affleck and Sean Penn.

At the moment, Mathew isn't officially on board with Britney's plans to appoint him as her attorney, but sources said he'd first act to remove Jamie from Britney's estate, then he'd attempt to end the conservatorship.
