Jessie J is delaying the release of her new music until she recovers from an unknown ailment.

Despite not having a problem with her vocal cords, Jessie feels pain every day, and it's negatively impacting her voice.

The singer recently told her fans that her new music would not be available until she feels better.

The next step for Jessie will be an MRI scan to figure out what is causing her problems.

During a Q&A session on Instagram, she responded: "When can we expect the album? When I’m better, which I don’t know when that’s going to be."

"My throat is the same. It is so boring, so boring. I don’t even know what to say anymore. It should be my thyroid, I’m having my spine looked at," the 33-year-old added. "I have an MRI on Monday, I’m having vocal therapy, I’m seeing an allergist, I’m seeing a thyroid specialist and I’m looking into autoimmune things."

Jessie J first shared her struggle with a painful throat problem that prevents her from singing last June.

The singer explained on her Instagram story that she did not anticipate sharing the situation because she thought it would be resolved already. Unfortunately, that's not the case.
