'Mounting' Legal Bills Leave Amber Heard Broke, Sources Claim

The Johnny Depp defamation verdict and mounting legal bills have left Amber Heard "completely broke."

During an interview with NBC’s "Today," Amber's lawyer Elaine Bredehoft said the star cannot pay Johnny the $10.4 million she owes him.

Now, sources told The Post that the actress is broke following the defamation trial, which cost her hefty legal fees.

Meanwhile, Amber's past extravagant spending on clothes, gifts, travel and wine has been blamed by one insider.

Several sources said that the actress has switched legal representation and is depending on her homeowner's insurance policy to pay for her new attorneys.

The Travelers Companies has compensated Amber's legal bills largely under the terms of her insurance policy, sources claimed.
