Selena Gomez Stays Home Amid COVID-19 Pandemic

The 28-year-old singer is staying home in the midst of the ongoing novel coronavirus pandemic.

Gomez took to Instagram to gave fans a glimpse into what she has been doing while social distancing recently. Along with a photo of herself playing the acoustic guitar, she wrote: "Things I've been doing in quarantine- settling into my new house and guitar lessons."

In the snap, the "Lose You To Love Me" singer is seen nestling in a pink velvet armchair. Gomez wore lounge pants and a tank top. She was in front of a wall adorned with floral wallpaper.


As of this writing, the photo has garnered more than 5.3 million likes. A lot of fans also left kind comments. One fan asked, "Will we get to hear what you're working on?" Another added, "Continue doing great things, lovely."

"Selena you're the best woman i saw," another fan wrote, "and you are Strong woman and i love you." Someone else commented, "May your magical charisma get you loads and loads of success my friend."

Meanwhile, many fans also noticed her new house. They said that it looks beautiful and that they want the pop star to show them more of the residence. Gomez's new house previously belonged to the legendary musician, Tom Petty, as reported by E! Online.


The singer bought the property for $4.9 million. According to the outlet, the house spans more than 11,000 square feet and boasts six bedrooms and ten bathrooms.

Gomez, who started her career by appearing on the children's television series "Barney & Friends" (2002–2004), shot to stardom in the 2007 Disney Channel series "Wizards of Waverly Place."

In 2015, she released her second solo album "Revival," which debuted number one on the Billboard 200 chart. She has received several accolades, including the Billboard Woman of the Year in 2017.
