Professional basketball player LeBron James was born on December 30, 1984, in Akron, Ohio. His mother is Gloria James; unfortunately, he never met his father.

James' mother, Gloria, was only sixteen when she gave birth to the future basketball player. James had a difficult childhood.

He was five years old when his grandmother passed away. The city condemned their house, so they had to move. He and his mother moved seven times in a year.

Fortunately, his coach Frankie Walker took him and let him stay under his family. James began playing football at a young age for a local team.

Then, at nine years old, he played basketball at the request of his coach. He showed a natural talent for basketball. St. Vincent-St. Mary High School later recruited him to join their basketball team in 1999.

James played for four years and helped the team to a Division III state title. The team won three championships, and he received several honors for his performance.

After graduating from High School, James decided not to go to college and went straight to the NBA. With his impressive record in High School, he was the first overall pick in the 2003 NBA draft and was selected by the Cleveland Cavaliers. He was also one of the anticipated first overall draft pick in the history of the sports.

During his rookie season, James became the first player of the Cleveland Cavaliers franchise to win the NBA Rookie of the year award. He also became the youngest player at the age of twenty to receive that honor.

After seven seasons, James left the Cleveland Cavaliers in 2010. He then joined the Miami Heat and won two titles and two finals MVP awards.

James was the most dominant player at the time; they crowned him as king of the NBA. After four seasons, he left the Miami Heat and joined the Cleveland Cavaliers again in the 2014-2015 season and won his third title and third finals MVP award.

James has played in eight consecutive NBA Finals between Miami Heat and Cleveland Cavaliers. In 2013, he tied the knot with his high school sweetheart and longtime girlfriend, Savannah Brinson.

The couple has three children named Bronny, Bryce, and Zhuri. Currently, James is playing in the Los Angeles Lakers and doing his best to win his fourth title.
