Nicki Minaj Slams the Grammy Awards for a Past Snub

Queen of Rap Nicki Minaj slammed the Grammys for snubbing her in 2012. The 37-year-old may even be accusing the award show of racism.

On Twitter, the "Anaconda" hitmaker wrote: "Never forget the Grammys didn't give me my best new artist award when I had 7 songs simultaneously charting on billboard & bigger first week than any female rapper in the last decade- went on to inspire a generation. They gave it to the white man Bon Iver. #PinkFriday."

Minaj recorded several hit songs and secured ten nominations over the last decade. However, she has yet to win a Grammy. She received zero nods for 2021 as well.
