Ariana Grande Takes Over Nick Jonas' Seat on the ‘The Voice’


Jonas, who still appears on the season 20 cast with Clarkson, Shelton, and Legend, also celebrated the news on Twitter.

For the upcoming season 21 of "The Voice," Ariana Grande is taking Nick Jonas' coaching seat on the panel.

Later this year, Grande will join returning stars Kelly Clarkson, Blake Shelton, and John Legend in the music competition. Meanwhile, Jonas is expected to become part of the rotation of coaches later down the line.

The “7 rings” hitmaker took to Twitter on March 30 to announce the news. She wrote: "surprise !!! i am beyond thrilled, honored, excited to be joining @kellyclarkson @johnlegend @blakeshelton next season ~ season 21 of @nbcthevoice! @nickjonas we will miss you."



Jonas, who still appears on the season 20 cast with Clarkson, Shelton, and Legend, also celebrated the news on Twitter. “Congrats @ArianaGrande!” he wrote. “You're going to kill it next season! Welcome to the family.”
