Britney Spears is just taking things one day at a time as she tries to break free from her conservatorship.

Following an Instagram post in which the Pop Princess told her millions of followers that "life goes on," the 39-year-old clarified what she really meant by that statement.

"So I said 'life goes on' in one of my recent posts but it's always easier said than done," Britney said.

She added, "In that moment that's what felt was the easiest to say but I think we all know that I will never be able to let go and fully move on until I've said all I needed to say … and I'm not even close."

This comes after Britney's new lawyer, Mathew Rosengart, said in an interview that he was working quickly and aggressively to remove Jamie Spears from the singer's conservatorship.
