Bella Hadid Reminds Fans Social Media Doesn't Represent Real Life


She compared mental health and chemical imbalance to a rollercoaster with ups and downs and side-to-side movements

Bella Hadid has revealed that in the past few years, she has cried almost every day and every night.

On Tuesday, the model shared several pictures of herself in tears on Instagram and reminded her fans that social media is not an accurate representation of life.

"For anyone struggling, please remember that. Sometimes all you've gotta hear is that you're not alone," Bella wrote. "So from me to you, you're not alone. I love you, I see you, and I hear you."

Continuing, she compared mental health and chemical imbalance to a rollercoaster with ups and downs and side-to-side movements.

"There is always light at the end of the tunnel , and the rollercoaster always comes to a complete stop at some point…[but] it does get better," Bella explained.

Having experienced a few breakdowns and burnouts, she realized that if one takes some time to understand one's traumas and joys, one will always be able to better understand pain and learn how to cope with it.

As she concluded her post, Bella, whose modeling career started when she was sixteen years old, thanked all of her fans for taking the time to listen to her.
