Dakota Johnson Shares Her Thoughts On Joining The Marvel Universe


"There's something about those movies that you're like, 'Wow, a real human being can do that!'"

Dakota Johnson is ready to put on her best performance as Madame Web as she can't wait to play the role.

The actress discussed her upcoming Marvel film with Entertainment Tonight recently. "I can tell you pretty much nothing that isn't already on the internet," Dakota said.

"It's pretty cool to be in the Marvel world, especially with a character that's not so known." The star added that there's a lot of room for them to make Madame Web really cool and that she's looking forward to it.

"It's always been a dream of mine to do some kind of massive action movie," Dakota continued. "I always wanted to do, like, a female Indiana Jones. There's something about those movies that you're like, 'Wow, a real human being can do that!'"

Dakota is the daughter of Hollywood stars Don Johnson and Melanie Griffith. A minor role in the 1999 film "Crazy in Alabama" with her mother marked her film debut at ten years old.

After graduating from high school, she began auditioning for roles in Los Angeles, and she ended up playing a minor role in "The Social Network" (2010).

Dakota received a BAFTA Rising Star Award nomination in 2016 for her performance as Anastasia Steele in the movie series "Fifty Shades" (2015-2018).
