Trey Songz has learned the legal action against him won't be pursued further five months after his name appeared in headlines for a $20 million lawsuit based on accusations of sexual assault.

A woman, identified on legal documents as "Jane Doe," accused the singer of sexually assaulting her at a house party back in 2016.

Additionally, she accused Trey of perpetrating gender violence, inflicting emotional distress intentionally and negligently, and false imprisonment.

The claims were vigorously denied by Trey's representatives.

As reported by MyNewsLA, Jane Doe filed a motion for dismissal with the Los Angeles Superior Court in late June. Earlier this week, a judge agreed to the request, ending the suit.
