Dua Lipa is reportedly looking to transition into acting and has even set her sights on winning an Oscar.

An insider told The Sun that the singer has received numerous scripts and is most interested in taking on serious drama roles that could receive Oscar buzz.

Lipa is also said to be planning to start her own TV and film production company to option and bring stories she believes in to bigger studios.

Lipa recently had a small role in the upcoming spy drama "Argylle" and has spoken about her excitement for the experience, but also her desire to take things slowly and build her acting skills gradually.

Lipa rose to fame in 2015 with the release of her single "New Love." The song gained popularity on streaming platforms and led to Lipa signing with Warner Bros. Records.

She released her self-titled debut album in 2017, which included hit singles such as "Be the One" and "Hotter Than Hell."

The album was a commercial success and earned Lipa several awards, including the Brit Award for British Female Solo Artist.
