On Sunday evening, the Los Angeles Lakers defeated the Portland Trail Blazers in a highly-entertaining and suspenseful match, with a final score of 121-112.

Despite being outscored by 32 points in the second quarter, the Lakers made a remarkable comeback to secure the victory.

Leading the charge for the Lakers was LeBron James, who scored an impressive 37 points, while Dennis Schroder contributed 24 points, with the majority of his points coming in the second half.

Additionally, Thomas Bryant added 31 points and 14 rebounds, including a pair of powerful slam dunks in the crucial moments of the game. The Lakers began the game strong, leading by 14 points in the early stages.

However, the Trail Blazers pushed back and won the second quarter 45-13, one of the biggest scoring margins in a quarter since the introduction of the three-point line. The Lakers struggled during this quarter, making only six shots and committing seven turnovers.

Despite this, the Lakers were able to turn things around in the third quarter, with James and Schroder scoring 16 and 14 points respectively, while the Trail Blazers' performance declined, only making six shots.

The Lakers also played with increased energy and physicality, gradually closing the gap at the free-throw line, where they took 17 attempts in the third quarter alone.

In the fourth quarter, the Lakers regained the lead and never looked back, with Bryant hitting a three-pointer to give them a 98-97 lead.

The Lakers then sprinted through the finish, securing their second consecutive victory. This comeback is considered as one of the most remarkable in NBA history.
