Although much of the film is shrouded in secrecy, the Grammy-winning singer posted a collaborative Instagram post with co-star Cynthia Erivo, showing sweet moments captured on set.
In the images, Ariana is dressed in a polka-dot dress, while Cynthia is donning plaid.
Ariana will be playing the character Glinda, and Cynthia takes on the role of Elphaba in the two-part movie adaptation.
"Wicked: Part One" and "Wicked: Part Two" are set to release in theaters in 2024 and 2025, respectively.
Meanwhile, Ariana recently collaborated with The Weeknd on a remix of "Die for You," which has hit No. 1 on the Billboard Hot 100 chart.
