Liza Soberano recently made a surprise appearance at a private event in Makati on Tuesday, where her friend and photographer BJ Pascual was launched as a regional ambassador for a well-known cosmetic brand.

In response to her recent vlog, in which she shared her thoughts and insights on her 13-year tenure with ABS-CBN before joining James Reid's management company, Careless, Soberano spoke exclusively with ABS-CBN News and addressed critics who called her "ungrateful."

Soberano clarified that she was never upset with her decade-long career with the Kapamilya network and agreed with everything that her former manager Ogie Diaz said in his video, except for the part about her screen name "Liza."

She emphasized that she was merely stating a fact in her vlog and had no issues with her screen name. Soberano also expressed gratitude to Diaz for his contributions to her personal life and career.

Soberano acknowledged that she has been trending on social media and that some people are calling her "ungrateful" or "walang utang na loob" in Filipino.

She clarified that she is not upset about anything and is merely expressing her experiences and moving forward.

Currently, Soberano has no projects in Manila, and she and her Careless team are focused on building her Hollywood career.

However, she is working on something for her Filipino fans, which will be released soon. Soberano also clarified that she is not moving to Los Angeles permanently and will only be there for 50% of the year.
