The incident arose after the 29-year-old posted a video on TikTok in which she was lip-syncing to "Bo$$ Chick" while dancing with a troupe of backup performers.
One particular user was unimpressed with the track and commented, "I'm sorry I don't like the song." Saweetie responded with a shrug emoji and the remark, "Wellllll I don't expect everyone to have good taste."
However, despite this minor setback, Saweetie's debut album is expected to be released soon. The artist recently spoke to E! News and emphasized that she intends to be "really careful" with her initial record, indicating that a debut album is not something that can be rushed.
As an artist, she takes her work seriously and wants her supporters to "really understand" her narrative. She has had a variety of experiences, and she wants to use them to create an album that is both artistic and authentic.
