Prince Harry and Meghan Markle are reportedly considering leaving Montecito. The couple got married in 2018 and made the decision to step down from their royal duties in 2020, opting for a life in Montecito, California. However, it seems they have found the area to be too secluded and are now contemplating a potential move to Malibu.

According to a source who spoke to UsWeekly, Prince Harry and Meghan Markle enjoy their current lifestyle in Montecito but feel that it is somewhat isolated and distant from the city. Their preference lies in living near the beach, which initially prompted their move to Montecito. While no final decision has been made, the possibility of relocating to Malibu is actively being considered by the couple.

Another source, speaking to the same outlet, revealed that Meghan and Prince Harry fell in love with Malibu after spending two summers in a friend's rental home in the area. Currently, they are said to be casually exploring the real estate market in Malibu.

These reports come shortly after the news that the royal couple has officially moved out of Frogmore Cottage. The residence, a five-bedroom home in the UK, was gifted to them by the late Queen Elizabeth five years ago. As part of their arrangements, Prince Harry and Meghan agreed to reimburse the £2.4 million that had been spent on refurbishing the property using taxpayers' funds.
