Actress Rebel Wilson recently encountered an unforeseen hurdle during the production of her latest film, Bride Hard.

Wilson took to Instagram to candidly share the details of her injury sustained during a "stunt accident" while filming the wedding comedy in Savannah, Georgia. Although the Instagram Story post has now expired, the incident left a lasting impact. Wilson shared a somber selfie, revealing a bruised nose and visible traces of blood, which served as tangible evidence of the ordeal. Expressing her disappointment, she noted, "NOT the way I wanted to end this movie!"

The accident resulted in Wilson receiving three stitches and necessitated a hospital visit at 4 a.m. It is worth noting that the film Bride Hard encountered this setback during the ongoing SAG-AFTRA strike. However, the production was able to proceed through a negotiated interim agreement, as the film fell within the realm of independently produced projects.

Despite this challenge, Wilson's career prospects continue to shine brightly. She divulged during the 2023 Cannes Film Festival that she had auditioned for a role in the forthcoming James Bond film. Reflecting on the experience, she shared, "What was really cool was getting to audition for Bond."

This opportunity materialized through her interactions with Barbara Broccoli and Michael G. Wilson, producers of the Bond franchise. Initially, their communication centered around "clearing some Bond-related jokes" for Wilson's host role at the 2022 BAFTA Film Awards. Nevertheless, Wilson has yet to confirm whether she was successful in securing the highly coveted role.
