Kim Kardashian Celebrates Graduation from Law Office Study Program After Six Years

Kim Kardashian has officially graduated from her six-year Law Office Study Program, a non-traditional path to becoming a lawyer in California.

She began her legal studies in 2018, opting for an apprenticeship with a San Francisco law firm instead of attending a traditional law school.

This route, known as "reading the law," is permitted in California and a few other states, allowing individuals to qualify for the bar exam through extensive mentorship and self-study.

The reality star and entrepreneur celebrated her achievement with a backyard ceremony attended by her children, sisters Khloé and Kourtney, and close friends, including CNN commentator Van Jones.

During the event, Jessica Jackson, one of her mentors, commended Kardashian's dedication, noting she had committed 5,184 hours to legal study over six years while managing her family and businesses.

In 2021, Kardashian passed California's "baby bar" exam after multiple attempts, a significant milestone in her legal journey.

She has also completed the Multistate Professional Responsibility Examination (MPRE), a required step for aspiring attorneys in California.

Inspired by her late father, Robert Kardashian Sr., a prominent attorney, Kim has been actively involved in criminal justice reform.

Her advocacy has led to the release of individuals who were serving lengthy prison sentences, including Dawn Jackson, who had been imprisoned for 30 years for fatally stabbing her step-grandfather after enduring years of sexual abuse.

While Kardashian has yet to take the California bar exam, she continues to pursue her legal career and is set to star in the upcoming Hulu legal drama "All's Fair," created by Ryan Murphy.

In the series, she portrays a divorce lawyer, aligning with her real-life legal aspirations.
