Liam Payne’s $32M Estate to Be Managed by Ex Cheryl Cole After Intestate Death

In the wake of Liam Payne's tragic passing in October 2024, it has been revealed that the former One Direction star left behind an estate valued at approximately $32.2 million (£24.3 million) without a will.

Under UK intestacy laws, his former partner and mother of their eight-year-old son, Bear, Cheryl Cole, has been appointed as the administrator of his estate, alongside attorney Richard Mark Bray.

Payne's estate, which includes properties and various investments, is expected to be placed in a trust for Bear, who will inherit the assets upon reaching adulthood.

Cheryl, a former Girls Aloud singer, will manage the trust until then.

At the time of his death, Payne was dating influencer Kate Cassidy, who, due to their unmarried status, is not entitled to any portion of the estate.

Payne's sudden death at age 31, resulting from a fall from a hotel balcony in Buenos Aires, Argentina, has been a subject of investigation, with initial charges against several individuals eventually dropped.
