Chappell Roan Announces Exclusive Pop-Up Shows in New York, Kansas City, and Los Angeles!

Pop sensation Chappell Roan has thrilled fans with the announcement of a series of highly anticipated pop-up concerts scheduled for later this year.

The "Red Wine Supernova" singer confirmed that she will perform special shows in three cities: New York, Kansas City, and Los Angeles.

This exclusive run is an extension of her ongoing "Visions of Damsels & Other Dangerous Things Tour," which began its European leg in May.

The Grammy-winning artist took to social media on Thursday, July 24, to share the exciting news, emphasizing her desire to do "something special" for these chosen locations before she steps away to work on her next studio album.

Roan, known for her vibrant, theatrical performances and dedicated fanbase, is aiming to keep ticket prices as affordable as possible and deter scalpers.

The newly announced North American dates include:

1. New York City: Four nights at Forest Hills Stadium in Queens, NY (September 20, 21, 23, and 24).

2. Kansas City, MO: Two nights at the Museum and Memorial Park (October 3 and 4).

3. Pasadena, CA: Two nights at Brookside at the Rose Bowl (October 10 and 11).

Chappell Roan's connection to these cities runs deep. Born in Willard, Missouri, just a short distance from Kansas City, her roots in the Midwest are a defining part of her artistic persona.

Los Angeles and New York have also frequently appeared in her song lyrics, showcasing their significance in her journey and music.

In an effort to combat ticket reselling at inflated prices, Roan is partnering with Fair AXS for the presale process.

Fans are required to register for their desired show dates, and Fair AXS will work to filter out bots and scalpers, sending purchase links only to verified accounts.

Additionally, Cash App Visa debit cardholders will receive a 15% cash back on their ticket purchases, further aiding in making the concerts accessible.

This announcement comes hot on the heels of speculation surrounding Chappell Roan's new music, particularly her unreleased single "The Subway," which she debuted at Governor's Ball 2024.

Teasers for "The Subway" have been appearing across New York City, hinting at an August 1st release.

Fans are eagerly awaiting whether this track, or her post-album single "The Giver," will be part of her upcoming sophomore record.

Chappell Roan's rise to stardom has been largely attributed to her authentic connection with her audience, her unique drag-inspired aesthetic, and her strategic use of social media platforms like TikTok, where her songs often go viral.

Her concerts are celebrated for their inclusive, party-like atmosphere, encouraging fan participation and user-generated content, which in turn fuels her organic promotion.

This grassroots approach, coupled with her critical acclaim and recent Grammy win, continues to solidify her position as one of pop's most exciting and genuine artists.

With a busy festival schedule in Europe throughout August 2025, including performances at Øya Festival in Norway, Sziget Festival in Hungary, and Reading & Leeds Festivals in the UK, these U.S. pop-up shows offer a more intimate experience for her dedicated North American fanbase before she dedicates time to new recordings.
