Miley Cyrus to Become First ’90s‑Born Female Star on Hollywood Walk of Fame

Miley Cyrus, the 32‑year‑old singer‑actress, has been named as part of the Hollywood Walk of Fame Class of 2026—becoming the first female celebrity born in the 1990s to earn this honor.

The announcement came during a July 2 press conference hosted by the Hollywood Chamber of Commerce, revealing a lineup of 35 new stars, including Timothée Chalamet, Demi Moore, Emily Blunt, and Shaquille O’Neal.

Reflecting on her journey, Cyrus shared nostalgic memories of late‑night walks with her father, Billy Ray Cyrus, on Hollywood Boulevard when no one recognized them.

“To now be cemented on this legendary boulevard, surrounded by the icons who inspired me, feels like a dream,” she wrote on social media.

Cyrus’s star caps off a prolific career that launched in 2006 with Disney’s Hannah Montana.

Since then, she’s made her mark in music, film, and advocacy—earning two Grammys for her 2023 hit “Flowers” and achieving the title of youngest Disney Legend in 2024.

The milestone also follows her recent artistic achievements: the debut of her visual album Something Beautiful at the Tribeca Film Festival and a daring music video for its title track filmed on the Walk of Fame—an effort so intense she later required ICU care for a serious knee infection.

While Cyrus hasn't yet announced her star ceremony date—and honorees typically have up to two years to schedule it—the celebration’s excitement is already building.
