The Recording Academy has officially announced that the legendary Whitney Houston will be honored with a Lifetime Achievement Award!
This special honor is given to performers who have made massive contributions to the world of music.
Known as "The Voice," Whitney’s family and her Legacy Foundation shared their deep thanks to the Academy for recognizing her incredible career.
Whitney is being honored alongside other greats like Cher, Chaka Khan, and Paul Simon.
The award ceremony will take place on January 31, 2026, right before the Grammy Awards.
Even though she passed away in 2012, her record-breaking hits like "I Will Always Love You" continue to inspire millions of people every day.
This award is a beautiful way to celebrate a woman who changed music forever and who still holds the record for seven consecutive Number 1 hits.
