The special deluxe release features a unique track that mixes her Spanish version of "Irreplaceable" with the late Tejano music icon Selena Quintanilla's legendary song "Como La Flor".
While many fans were thrilled to hear two massive Texas icons brought together, a portion of the Latino community expressed frustration online. Critics argued that the mashup felt forced and suggested that Beyoncé should stay in her own lane when it comes to Spanish-language and Tejano music. Some online users claimed the collaboration was an attempt to cash in on Selena's enduring legacy, while others felt the two distinct vocal styles and emotional themes did not match well together.
Despite the negative comments from some listeners, the project received official approval and blessings from Selena's family estate.
