Selena Gomez Urges Fans to Vote in Upcoming Presidential Election

Pop star Selena Gomez, who has more than 190 million followers on Instagram, used her platform for good, encouraging her avid supporters to vote in the upcoming presidential election.

During a recent Instagram Live on her profile, the former Disney Channel star video chatted with acclaimed actor Timothée Chalamet, as the latter waited in line to vote in New York City.

"Right now I'm literally voting, at my early voting station in New York at Madison Square Garden which feels particularly metaphorical because I've seen many great things happen here," Chalamet said. "So I'm hoping another great thing happens today."

"It's really moving to see this many people show up," he added. "It feels like people are motivated."



Chalamet then declared his hope to see President Donald Trump voted out of office. Gomez added: "My stomach hurts because I'm nervous."

"I'm really proud of you. You've been all over this stuff and I know it's making a difference," the actor told the "Good For You" singer.
