Liam Payne is talking about his struggles co-parenting his child while the novel coronavirus pandemic continues.

In a recent Instagram Live, Payne, 27, explained to producer Ben Winston that seeing his son Bear was hard because the 3-year-old is now living with his mother, Cheryl.

"I went and saw Bear today," Payne said. "We had a little hangout which was quite nice as I hadn't seen him in a couple of weeks."

The singer admitted it is difficult to see his son with the COVID thing since he has to get tested every time before he visits him.

"I have to make sure I'm negative before I go over and see him so it's having to wait that couple of days before you can test," Payne said.

Payne added that even though his child lives only up the street, co-parenting is still complicated. He also mentioned that Bear had grown so big.

Payne debuted as a singer when he auditioned for "The X Factor" in 2008. After being eliminated in the contest, he auditioned again in 2010 and was placed in a group with four other contestants to form the band One Direction.

In 2016, Payne started dating Cheryl, and their son Bear was born in March 2017. The pair called it quits in 2018. Payne then began dating model Maya Henry in 2019, and they engaged in August 2020.
