Los Angeles Rapper Ketchy The Great has Passed Away

The news that Ketchy The Great had died left many people devastated. A flood of tributes to the late rapper have been posted on social media from both fans and fellow rappers.

The management company of Ketchy The Great confirmed the rapper's death to Pitchfork news outlet. Additional details about his death are yet to be confirmed at the time of publication.

According to The Sun, Ketchy the Great had been a member of the Stinc Team, which also included Drakeo the Ruler and Ralfy the Plug.




His birth name is Jameon Davis, but his age isn't known. In 2018, he was arrested after spray painting graffiti, but a long sentence awaited him because the Los Angeles County District Attorney believes Stinc Team is a gang.

A sentence of two years and ten months was imposed upon him for vandalism with a gang enhancement and witness intimidation with a gang enhancement.

Ketchy The Great was a solo artist as well as a member of the Stinc Team. "If I Go Broke" became his breakout song in 2017.
