Noah Centineo will appear in an upcoming Netflix movie. It's about the recent increase in the GameStop stock.

The movie takes a close look at the battle between hedge funds and amateur Reddit traders who caused GameStop's stock, through investing apps like Robinhood, to skyrocket to 1,700 percent, according to PEOPLE.

A month ago, the Reddit community urged one another to buy stock in the beloved video game store, driving up the stock price.

The hedge fund industry expected the stock price to fall, but regular investors' interest caused the stock to rise, causing the hedge fund to lose billions.

Meanwhile, Centineo was previously featured in the Netflix film "To All The Boys I've Loved Before" (2018) and its sequel "To All the Boys: P.S. I Still Love You" (2020).

The actor will return in the third installment of the franchise, "To All the Boys: Always and Forever," which will be released on February 12.
