An explanation was provided by the former Fox News presenter in response to the recent leak. In a now-deleted post on Twitter, McCoy urged everyone to keep their phones away from other people.

A few days before this incident, he had been suspended from Fox. According to the rep, the decision was made due to the comments he made regarding the COVID-19 vaccine.
