Scott's label, Cactus Jack Records, and ScoreMore (co-organizers) are cited as defendants in the lawsuit, according to Billboard.

Steve Kherkher, Manuel's attorney, wrote in the petition that the organizers had failed to conduct a safe event and they even encouraged behavior that was dangerous.

Another argument is that organizers overlooked signs of a pending disaster by continuing the show after attendees rushed through the gates.

Meanwhile, even after the chaos broke out amid the crowd, Travis continued to perform the concert, drawing immense criticism from his fans.
