Lindsay Lohan's 'Party Girl' Reputation Made Headlines Throughout Early 2000s

A slew of legal issues and drug and alcohol-related problems plagued Lindsay Lohan in the years between 2007 and 2012.

While she continued to work on acting projects, Lindsay went to a 30-day drug rehabilitation program for the first time in early 2007.

However, Lindsay was arrested in Beverly Hills, California, in May 2007 after she crashed her Mercedes-Benz convertible into a curb under the influence of alcohol, as reported by CNN.

Two more arrests took place that year, and she was charged with DUI and misdemeanor cocaine use, in addition to a probation violation and failure to attend a scheduled court hearing for alcohol counseling.

Because of overcrowding in prison, Lindsay only served two weeks of a 90-day prison sentence due to probation violating.

Her theft charge dates back to 2011, when police said she walked out of a California jewelry store wearing a $2,500 necklace.

Lindsay pleaded not guilty to the charge, which was later reduced to a misdemeanor, and she was ordered to perform 480 hours of community service and to adhere to her probation while on house arrest.
