Beyoncé’s 'Renaissance' Rockets To No. 1 On Billboard 200


"Renaissance" is the first album released by a woman in 2022 to reach the top of the Billboard 200.

The Billboard 200 chart dated August 13 reveals that Beyoncé's "Renaissance" is the top album.

In the week ending August 4, 332,000 equivalent album units were earned by the album in the United States, according to Luminate.

As an important note, "Renaissance" is the first album released by a woman in 2022 to reach the top of the Billboard 200.

"Renaissance" is Beyoncé's seventh and latest solo studio album, following 2016's "Lemonade."

It was not a surprise release, unlike her two previous solo albums, "Lemonade" and her self-titled set in 2013.
