Director Liz Garbus, who is responsible for the Netflix documentary series featuring Prince Harry and Meghan Markle, recently expressed her accusations towards the monarchy in an interview with Vanity Fair.

Ms. Garbus stated that the purpose of the project was to connect the dots between the personal story of Harry and Meghan and larger historical issues.

She also highlighted how the overwhelming hatred towards Meghan Markle has influenced the public's perception of the couple.

Furthermore, Ms. Garbus pointed out that people are willing to read about Harry and Meghan when it is written by others but when the couple wants to tell their story in their own words, it becomes an issue.

She added that people have the choice to watch or not watch the documentary, and it is not a requirement in schools.

She also stated that Buckingham Palace's claim that the production team did not reach out for comment on the docuseries is false and is an attempt to discredit the show.

Ms. Garbus also mentioned that the team experienced moments that were similar to being in an alternate reality.
