Mike Tyson, widely considered to be one of the greatest boxers of all time, has been accused of sexual assault in a recent court filing by an anonymous woman.

The alleged incident is said to have occurred in the 1990s, and the plaintiff is seeking $5 million in damages.

The documents were filed in Albany, New York under the state's Adult Survivor Act, which allows individuals to file lawsuits for assaults that took place years ago.

The alleged victim claims to have met Tyson at a local hotspot called Septembers, and that the incident occurred after she entered the boxer's limousine to pick up her friend.

She alleges that Tyson "violently raped" her, despite her repeated requests for him to stop.

The woman further claims that the alleged assault has caused her to experience feelings of worthlessness, shame, embarrassment, and perpetual sadness, as well as nightmares, panic attacks, and flashbacks.

This is not the first time that the former professional boxer has been accused of sexual assault.

In the past, he was convicted and served three years in prison for raping Desiree Washington, an incident in which he maintains his innocence.
