The injury was sustained during the team's recent victory against the Philadelphia 76ers, where Brown collided with a teammate and took an elbow to the cheek, according to reports.

Reports from The Athletic indicate that Brown is expected to miss games up to, and potentially including, the upcoming All-Star break.

The forward was unable to return to the game after the incident and finished with four points and three assists in 18 minutes of play.

At this time, the extent of Brown's injury and the length of his absence remain uncertain. Interim coach Joe Mazzulla did not provide an update on Brown's condition after the game, and it is not yet clear who will replace him in the All-Star game, should he be unable to play.

Despite the injury to Brown, the Celtics were able to secure a 106-99 victory against the 76ers. However, with several key players already out due to injuries, the upcoming All-Star break cannot come soon enough for the Boston team.
