In a recent interview with Spanish media outlet El Pais, Gerard Piqué broke his silence on his highly publicized separation from Shakira, with whom he had been in a relationship for more than a decade.

When asked about the impact of the breakup, Piqué declined to comment, stating, "I won't say, I don't want to."

Instead, he focused on his two sons, Milan and Sasha, and stressed the importance of parents' responsibility to protect their children.

Piqué also addressed media coverage of his personal life, including his new relationship with Barcelona college student Clara Chia, and expressed his dissatisfaction with how the press portrays his actions.

He emphasized his commitment to being true to himself and those closest to him and stated that he is content with his current state of happiness, despite recent changes in his life.

In contrast, Shakira has publicly shared her perspective on the separation, releasing a song called "BZRP Music Sessions #53" on which she took a direct swipe at Piqué.

The track quickly rose to the top of the Hot Latin Songs chart and set multiple Guinness World Records.
