Grace Van Dien, who gained fame from her role as Chrissy Cunningham on the recent season of “Stranger Things”, has disclosed an unpleasant experience on a recent movie set that has prompted her to become more selective with her acting projects.

During a Twitch stream on Tuesday, Van Dien revealed that she declined four movie roles in the last two and a half weeks and intends to dedicate more of her time to streaming.

She clarified that she has encountered unsatisfactory experiences on her last few projects with certain individuals she had to work for, and she disclosed that a film producer had made unwanted sexual advances towards her while on set.

According to Van Dien, the producer hired a girl he was having sexual relations with and had her ask Van Dien to engage in a threesome with them. She expressed that the experience left her so upset that she cried, and that streaming provides her with a better opportunity to safeguard her mental health.

Van Dien hopes to return to the entertainment industry soon, under her own terms and with her own projects. She is also known for her roles in "V for Vengeance" and "What Comes Around," which was featured at the Toronto Film Festival.
