Lady Gaga impressed the audience with her natural beauty and striking performance during the 2023 Oscars. The Grammy-winning artist took the stage to perform "Hold My Hand," a song from the motion picture "Top Gun: Maverick," which was nominated for Best Achievement in Music Written for Motion Pictures (Original Song). The stripped-back performance was a contrast to Gaga's glamorous red carpet appearance, where she wore a Versace gown and a diamond collar necklace.

Gaga's performance outfit was simple, consisting of a black T-shirt, ripped jeans, and sneakers. Her makeup-free face and twisted French braid updo were also noticeable during the performance. She introduced the song with an inspiring message on the importance of community and love.

Despite not winning the award, Gaga's nomination was her fourth time being recognized by the Academy. In 2019, she won an Oscar in the same category for "Shallow," featured in her movie "A Star Is Born" alongside Bradley Cooper.

Gaga's performance of "Hold My Hand" was unexpected, as Oscars producer Glenn Weiss had previously revealed that a scheduling conflict had prevented her from being available. However, hours before the ceremony, it was confirmed that Gaga would take the stage and perform the emotional track.

Lady Gaga's natural beauty and captivating performance were a highlight of the 2023 Oscars, leaving the audience stunned and moved.
