When it comes to female rappers breaking records, Cardi B is leading the charge. The New York-born artist, whose real name is Belcalis Almánzar, has been making waves in the music industry since she burst onto the scene in 2017. With hits like "Bodak Yellow" and "I Like It," she quickly established herself as one of the most successful female rappers of all time.

Recently, Cardi B set a new record when her debut album, "Invasion of Privacy," was certified 4x Platinum by the Recording Industry Association of America (RIAA). This achievement broke a two-way tie with Nicki Minaj's debut album, "Pink Friday," for the highest-certified female rap album of the century.

The only female rap album to be certified higher is Lauryn Hill's "Miseducation" (1998), which was certified Diamond. Cardi B's success doesn't stop there. Her singles "I Like It" and "Bodak Yellow" have both been certified 11x Platinum, tying for the highest-certified female rap singles of all time.

In addition, her hit "Bartier Cardi" was recently certified 4x Platinum, bringing her cumulative certified single sales in America to a whopping 57 million. This makes her the highest-certified female rapper of all time, a title she holds with pride.

As Cardi B gears up for her highly anticipated sophomore album, her fans – affectionately known as the #BardiGang – continue to stream and support her music. With her record-breaking success, it's clear that Cardi B has cemented her place in the music industry and is a force to be reckoned with.
