The Duke of York, despite having lost a number of regal privileges as a result of his legal settlement with Virginia Giuffre, remains resolute in his decision to continue residing at his current abode, the Royal Lodge in Windsor.

The residence of the Duke and Duchess of Sussex, Frogmore Cottage, has been made available to him by King Charles in a restructuring of royal households; however, Prince Andrew is steadfast in his preference for his current home, which he has inhabited since 2003.

According to a source cited by OK! magazine, the Duke of York is determined to remain at the Royal Lodge until the end of his lease, and will contest any attempt to move him to Frogmore.

The transition of residences was initially planned for July or August of this year, but it appears that Prince Andrew has no intention of vacating his home at this time.
