The Memphis Grizzlies have suspended their star player, Ja Morant, as the league reviews an Instagram Live video that reportedly shows the 23-year-old flashing what appears to be a gun from the driver's seat of a slowly moving vehicle.

The video was allegedly captured on Saturday, and the league is currently gathering more information to investigate the incident. This is not the first time Morant has been suspended for a similar situation.

In March, he was suspended for eight games without pay after flashing someone else's gun on Instagram Live at a Colorado strip club following a game against the Denver Nuggets.

In that instance, the Grizzlies quickly announced his suspension after less than 24 hours, and the NBA later determined that Morant did not possess the gun during team travel.

He also met with NBA commissioner Adam Silver to discuss his behavior and the counseling he underwent during his time away from the team.

The Grizzlies have stated that Morant is suspended from all activities until further notice, and the league is continuing to investigate the situation.
